Preston Foreman, born in Sacramento, California grew up primarily in Southern California. With a personality full of life and hard working ethics, at the young age of fifteen, Preston began working with a small local production company, also well known as an entertainment company that handled many school functions from LA to San Diego. With the original goal of later working for a larger Audio Visual Production company, Preston found himself being drawn to the fast paced, exciting world of DJing. Instead of following his original goal, he utilized this company to discover his passion for music and natural talent to entertain and mix music.

The motivation to improve his skills, and make DJing a lifelong commitment, quickly set in. By perfecting his technique on his turntables, Preston began to transcend his love for music. With his high energy and contagious personality, Preston worked hard to extend his name, and unique style, south of the border to places in Mexico, from TJ to Rosarito. While kids his age were out playing and enjoying childhood, Preston was playing at some of the biggest and hottest clubs at the time, reaching the level of those twice his age. At a fresh, young age DJ Wreckrd was born.

Through the years as a successful Club DJ, DJ Wreckrd continues to captivate his crowds by throwing many genres of music into one melting pot, with no frills and lost of thrills, he can hype up a crowd by utilizing his seemingly never ending library of music. His extensive library consists of a wide range of music, from Hip Hop, Classic and New, Old School, House, Electro, Reggae, R&B, and Funk to Rock. With the best and newest remixes, DJ Wreckrd keeps any crowd feeling satisfied and wanting more, always impressing the crowd with the ability to sample, loop, and fuse segments from multiple songs at once, through digital technology.

In 2005, he was offered the opportunity to hookup with Spencer, a.k.a DJ Suspense, to mix for a syndicated urban mix show, mixing 2 hours a week for 3 different radio stations nationwide. Starting in January 2007, he then took over the 4 hour syndicated radio mix show and started to produce the mix show on his own. In Aug 2007, he picked up another radio station to play his mixes in Guam.

You can currently hear DJ Wreckrd 8 hours a week in Guam (KZGZ – Power 98), 4 hours a week in Salt Lake City, UT (KUUU – U92), Panama City, FL (WEBZ) and Las Vegas, NV (KLUC), playing all the hottest and newest Hip Hop, R&B and Top 40. While working hard to establish himself in radio, DJ Wreckrd continued to make connections, pass out demo’s, and showcase his undeniable talent landing him gigs at some of the hottest night clubs in Southern California. Club Silk and Eagles Nest Ultra Lounge, at Pechanga Resort and Casino, just to name a few, are two hot spots he can still be heard mixing music from the best of 70’s to latest beats of today. Along with these two establishments, he has had the opportunity to travel and play in places like San Felipe, New Mexico for Spring Break, and many other clubs on the west coast. He has a very keen ear for music, paired with the ability to drop party rocking beats that keep the dance floors packed night after night. This has earned him area club residencies, in such places as Oceanside, CA, where he can be seen and heard every Friday night at “The Basement Nightclub”.

DJ Wreckrd has a passion for all aspects of entertainment. By continuing to stay very active and aggressive, Preston will help ensure his success of making a name for himself as a radio and nightclub DJ, and Producer.

What began as a fascination and a hobby has blossomed into his life’s work. He has solidified himself as outstanding DJ/MC, hailed for his style, creativity and ever-growing list of achievements.  DJ Wreckrd has proved to himself, his family and other DJ’s that with hard work and perseverance it is possible to succeed in the music business.
